Odor Sensor System Using Chemosensitive Resistor Array and Machine Learning

In this study, we developed an odor sensor system using chemosensitive resistors, which outputted multichannel data. Mixtures of gas chromatography stationary materials (GC materials) and carbon black were used as the resistors. The interaction between resistors species shifted electrical resistance Sixteen different fabricated on chip. addition, a compact measurement instrument was fabricated. channel data obtained from measurements instrument. analyzed machine learning algorithms available Weka software. As result, successfully identified alcoholic beverages. Finally, demonstrated classification restroom in field test. successful with accuracy 97.9%.
